About the Book: As the moon journeys across the sky from month to month, there are experiences of pride and joy in the brillance of its light, then confusion and embarrassment as it disappears - but, looking deeply into the source of that light and the nature of the universe, the moon discovers "True Self!" This is a story that leads children, and adults, to reflect on their true selves and one's place in the universe.

Preview: "The moon was very proud and full of joy in the brilliance of its light, flooding the earth as if it were almost day, casting moon shadows in the night. The moon basked in the “oohs” and “aahs” of the earth people who pointed to the sky as it rose in orange and gold on the horizon, and then to bright white light high in the sky. “How beautiful I am,” thought the moon. “The stars can twinkle, the planets can beam, but only I can flood the sky with light that bathes the earth. My light is so bright, the stars fade into space, unseen.” But then, the circle began to shrink, and the light began to dim. Soon, it was only half again, and then, a crescent once more."
