The Children's Home
The Children's House of Peace moved to a new location in 2011. We now live on a much bigger site, and much closer to down town Siem Reap and to the World Heritage site of Angkor Wat. Our location gives our children many more opportunities to grow up in touch with their country and culture.
We have two main buildings, one for the girls and one the boys. The office, the dining area and the kitchen are on the first floor of the girl's building, while the classroom and the stage for our dance show are at the back of the boy's building. All the rooms are equipped with fans, matresses, mosquito nets, desks and drawers. However, you will see our children swing in the hammocks or play ball games at the back to the CCHP, on a our vast domain when they are not in class. They love to be outside and play!
